Adult  & Senior Adult Ministries

For every stage of life, you're welcome here.

We're fortunate enough to have a variety of ministry opportunities to get connected through the week, including Adult-focused Sunday School classes and small groups that meet throughout the week. We develop relationships through study and action, serving our community and fellowshipping together to grow in our faith. Sunday school classes vary but you're able to complete the form at the bottom of the page for a list and descriptions of times and locations to find what may work best for you!

Stephen Ministry is a congregational care program that equips lay persons to provide Christian one-to-one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and community.

More information about Stephen Ministries is available at their website.

Wednesday Discipleship and Fellowship Ministries

Join us for Wednesday Discipleship and Fellowship Ministries at Pine Valley United Methodist Church. We start with a time of food and fellowship during Wednesday Night Supper at 5:30. After dinner, we offer a variety of classes and other discipleship opportunities.  These opportunities typically run September through April with a winter break. Check out our classes

This group enjoys wonderful fellowship on the third Tuesday of most months.  Our gatherings are for anyone 49 and older.  We meet at 5:30 pm in the Church Fellowship Hall for an evening of fun, food (catered) and fellowship. Our entertainment is varied and has included solos, duets, groups, and informational gatherings. Check our calendar for meeting times.

What a great way to have fellowship and learn the many interesting areas in the greater Wilmington area.  This group takes day trips each month with an occasional overnight trips to exciting destinations.  We look for creative and fun trips while trying to keep them inexpensive!

All information about the Travelers and where they will be traveling next will be posted on the Bulletin Board in the Welcome Center or you may call the church office at 910-791-0353 for the information.
