When God’s Spirit Moves – Led by Pastor Barry Stallings

In this study by Jim Cymbala, you will learn among many things, “How to make room for the Spirit’s action in your life and in your church and how God wants to work through your gifts and talents to enable you to do what only He can do.”


Evening Opportunities:

 Connect 101 – Led by Pastor Tim Reaves

Join us for a Confirmation-type class for adults that will cover our United Methodist History, Heritage, Theology, Doctrine and Beliefs.  Companion Book:  “Living as United Methodist Christians” by Andy & Sally Lankford.

 Connect 201 – Led by Pastor Chris Eason

A continuation of Connect 101 that will focus on our Discipleship Vows of the United Methodist Church and how we can live out those vows in Connecting Hearts to Christ and One Another.  The class uses the book “I Will” by Thom Rainer.

 Connect 301 – Led by Pastor Kim Collins

A continuation of Connect 201 that will focus on our Pine Valley Vision of Connecting Hearts to Christ and One Another which is accomplished through our Four E’s:  Excellence in Worship, Engaging Spiritual Formation, Expressive Faith Sharing, and Extra-mile caring. 

 Faith, Food, & Fitness – Led by Susan Sullivan

Participants will look at eating and exercise through a biblical lens. A Bible study that aligns physical and spiritual growth by setting faith, fitness, and food goals. All ages and fitness levels are encouraged to participate.

Financial Peace – Led by Wes Scott

Join us for this study written by Dave Ramsey that teaches how to manage money in godly ways.  Sessions include learning how to create a budget, pay off debt, make wise spending decisions, save for the future, and live generously.

 How To Be A Man – Led by Steven Collins & Mark Edquid

A devotional study by Rick Burgess and Andy Blanks in which they have identified eight core characteristics from the person of Christ that all men can seek to exemplify in their own lives.  These characteristics are:  Identity, Integrity, Purpose, Surrender, Passion, Commitment, Compassion, and Influence. 

 Jamming for Jesus in God’s Garage – Led by Pat Sullivan & Friends

Bring your musical instrument and join us in the church garage as we praise and worship the Lord through Bible study, playing a variety of music selections together (music provided), and fellowship.

Through the giving in these 5 areas, we're able to touch the lives of those in our community and beyond through our prayers, presence, gifts, service, gifts, and witness. 

As a member at Pine Valley UMC, we strive to provide opportunities to for you and your family to use your gifts and talents to glorify God. Whether it's for a youth mission trip or providing meals for Celebrate Recovery, or dedicating time on Sunday mornings to teach Sunday School, we have plenty of places for you to get connected.
