The Hebron Colony is located in Boone, NC and is a Christian-based residential recovery ministry. The Methodist men have made annual trips to the Hebron colony for more than twenty years. On these trips, we but extra groceries for the kitchen that is above and beyond what the kitchen usually gets. As the Hebron Colony has needs, the men have helped by trimming up ditches and driveways prior to the Saturday evening graduation service, painting, and providing general labor around the campus.

The Pine Valley Methodist Men have a long-standing tradition of supporting this Christian-based residential recovery program. Learn more about Hebron Colony at their website.

The United Methodist Men is comprised of every adult male member of Pine Valley UMC. Each one is invited to participate in our programs and projects. The purpose of the Methodist Men is to:

  • Enjoy good fellowship

  • Deepen our spiritual lives

  • Strengthen and enhance the role of men in the church

  • Challenge, inspire and motivate service in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Pine Valley UMM are organized around a monthly breakfast meeting. Breakfast is a small fee and is the best two (sometimes three) meat breakfast for that small fee. Breakfast is followed by a brief business meeting and program. Program topics focus on the interest of the group and important issues facing our congregation and denomination.
