Worship at Pine Valley UMC

Pine Valley United Methodist Church is connecting hearts to Christ and one another through worship.

We have a Thursday Night Service at 6:30 pm in our Christian Life Center Gym. This service is contemporary with a praise band helping lead worship.

We have Sunday services at 8:15 am, 9:45 am, and 11:15 am. Our 8:15 and 11:15 services are held in our Sanctuary and are more traditional in nature with a choir and piano or organ. We also have special music to enhance the service provided by our children, youth, adult ensembles, and instrumentalists. Our 9:45 service is contemporary with a praise band helping lead worship.

Children (up through fifth grade) and Youth (6th through 12th grade) Music

Music and worship arts are an integral part of our children’s ministry here at Pine Valley, and there are opportunities for children of all ages to express their faith and lead worship. All three of our graded choirs meet at 4:00 on Sundays, sing monthly in worship, and present a major musical production each Christmas and spring. The Wee Cherub choir (ages 3-4) introduces our youngest singers to playing color-coded bells, singing simple songs, and age appropriate worship. IGNITE (In God, Nothing Is Too Extreme) is the PVUMC Worship Arts Ministry for youth

Adult Music

Adults make up the chancel choir that provide music each Sunday for the traditional services. We also have a handbell group called the Spirit Ringers, a Gospel choir that goes to sing in nursing homes, instrumentalists, and a drama team to perform sermon or service-specific skits.
